I used to come home from work and go straight into the garage to work on wood furniture that I had designed. If I wasn’t at work I was whittling away at a table, chair, or just about anything a piece of wood could be shaped into. Friends and family always encouraged me to sell my creations but I was skeptical at first. I finally decided to do it and immediately knew that my hobby could become a full time business and The Business Tailors showed me how to make it happen.
As a horticultural science major I dreamed of someday starting my own business as a florist, but life got in the way. Two children and 10 years later I’m stuck at a receptionist desk wondering where the time went, still dreaming of that floral shop, that’s when I found The Business Tailors. In less than six months, I had quit my job and started my own business thanks to The Business Tailors.
I knew I wanted to start a business but I didn’t know where to start. After dozens of hours of research I was no closer to being able to launch a business than I was before I got started. Then one day I came across The Business Tailors website and the rest is history. I now own my very own hot dog stand, serving up Chicago style dog’s just blocks away from the university I attend. Now that I don’t have to worry about tuition, I might just continue on to get my masters.
